Indian Air Force (IAF) offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from all the Districts of States of Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura to become airmen. This Recruitment will be held at GDSA (Golaghat District Sports Association),Golaghat(Assam) from 21 October 2013 to 23 October 2013.
SELECTION PROGRAMME The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7am and the Candidates reporting upto 10am at the Rally only have the right to appear for the Recruitment Rally.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS (i) Candidates should be born between 01 FEBRUARY 1994 to 31 MAY 1997. (ii) Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years. (iii)Domicile should aslo be required.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (i)The Candidates should be 10/10+2 pass with 50% marks . (ii)Three years Diploma Course in Engineering with 50% marks.
PAY & ALLOWANCES During Training Rs8,550/- will be paid but after it may rise upto Rs39,546/- per month. JOB SPECIFICATIONS. Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades involve jobs like
|(a) Automobile Fitter||responsible for maintenance and repair of all types of light and heavy duty mechanical vehicles, cranes and loading equipment.|
|(b) Electronics Fitter.||operate and maintain Radar, Voice and Data transmission and reception equipment mounted on latest airborne weapon delivery systems and ground based air Defence systems|
|(c) Electrical Fitter.||maintain power supply system of latest types of aircraft, airborne missiles and associated ground systems.|
|(d) Mechanical System Fitter||repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of airborne missiles, engines, automobiles aircraft fuelling equipment|
|(e) Structures Fitter||responsible for the maintenance and servicing of airframes and their accessories, components and controls of aircraft|
|(f) Propulsion Fitter||repair, maintain and prepare for use the propulsion system of aircraft and other airborne weapon delivery system.|
|(g) Workshop Fitter (Smith).||repairs of all aircraft at central repair facilities. You will also be trained in workshop trade for material treatment, welding, heat treatment, smithy and basic machine tools etc|
|(h)Workshop Fitter (Mechanical)||repair and maintenance work of mechanical nature. You will be trained in workshop trade and practices|
|(j) Weapon Fitter||prepare, maintain and service armaments, ammunition and safety equipment of aircraft, missiles and other weapon delivery systems|
